What are the costs involved for traveling to Bhutan?
Tourism Council of Bhutan has set the tourist tariff which is valid for all inclusive packages.The minimum daily package for tourists travelling in a group of 3 persons or more is as follows:

-USD 200 per person per night during off-peak for the months of January, February, June, July, August, and December.

-USD 250 per person per night during peak seasons for the months of March, April, May, September, October, and November.

What’s included in the tariff?
The minimum daily tariffs are inclusive as follows:

  • Government’s royalty and taxes of USD 65
  • 3 stars hotels (upgrade to 4 & 5 stars at additional costs)
  • Internal transportation (all tour and transfers throughout your journey)
  • Meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at local restaurants/ standard hotels/ on treks
  • Free mineral water throughout your trip
  • Camping equipment and assistants for treks
  • Licensed English speaking tour guide services
  • Entrance fees to museums, monuments and cultural sites
  • All sightseeing within Bhutan
What are there surcharges for travel groups that comprise of less than 3 people?
Surcharges:For single individual tourist – USD 40 per night

Group of 2 persons– USD 30 per person per night

No surcharges for 3 or more tourists

Is my advance payment for my trip secure?
Your payment is secured as we are authorized to travel agent. Moreover, your payment goes directly to a government account. We receive the payment only upon completion of the tour.

For local travel agents like us, we are bound to charge fixed daily charge set by the government.
When should I pay for my tour?
Entire tour payment must be settled at least 6 weeks prior to the date of arrival in Bhutan and VISA is cleared by government subject to advance payment only.
What are the procedures for applying a VISA? / How much do I have to pay for Visa?
Indians, Bangladeshis and Maldivian nationals can enter Bhutan by obtaining a visa at the port of entry with minimum 6 months valid passport. Indian nationals may also use their Voters Identity Card (VIC). Other than the visitors from the aforementioned countries’, all visitors must obtain visa clearance prior to traveling into Bhutan. We will process your visa through online or through a foreign travel agent.

To apply for a visa, vividly scanned passport copy must be emailed or faxed to us 4 weeks prior to the date of arrival in Bhutan. After we receive the documents with full tour payment (including visa application fee of $40) which can be wire transferred. It will be sent to the Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) bank account and TCB will process the visa which takes 72 working hours. Once Visa clearance is ready we will email you the copy.

Then you are required to show your visa clearance letter at the port of entry. And we will handle you thereafter.

How long does it take to get Bhutan Visa?
Visa is usually approved about 1 to 2 weeks before your arrival in Bhutan. This is to accommodate travelers who need to make last minute changes of their travel plan. To this, we are able to arrange and apply your visa as fast as one week prior to your arrival in Bhutan.
Will I have internet access in Bhutan?
Yes, almost all hotels in Thimphu and Paro have internet access. Mobile (cell) phones are also widely used with international roaming facilities.
How about safety?
Bhutan is one of the safest countries in the world. However, we advise you to be guided after 9 be guided over, please ensure that your belongings, especially your passports, route permits, cameras, wallets, purses and other important/expensive accessories are secured.
What type of transportation is provided?
Tourists travel in Bhutan with medium-sized buses (20 to 22seats), small buses (8-12 seats) or hired cars. Larger coaches are not permitted due to the road’s limited width.How’s weather like in Bhutan?

When is the best time to visit Bhutan?
Our peak season periods are (Apr-May and mid-Sep-Nov) where the weather is ideal and lots of festivals are active. We recommend tourist to visit during summer (June-July) where the weather is perfect especially for the trekkers. If you are in search of experience of cold weather with the pleasant and clear view we recommend the months (Dec-Feb).
